Vitamin B1

The first of the B-complex vitamins to be obtained in pure form. It’s a sulfur-containing, water-soluble vitamin, commercialized either as a mononitrate salt or a hydrochloride salt. The mono form is less hygroscopic and more stable, while the HCl form is more water soluble.
