Technical seminar on modern genetics and their effect on feed formulation
Our technical seminar on modern genetics and their effect on feed formulation brings together industry experts in Pattaya.
From 20 to 22 October, Impextraco welcomed more than 130 participants from 12 countries to Pattaya, Thailand, for one of our Technical Seminars. This event focused on a key question facing the poultry industry today: Does modern genetics require rethinking feed formulations?
Over three days, delegates explored how ongoing genetic progress in modern poultry is reshaping nutritional requirements and feeding strategies. Presentations covered a wide range of topics, including energy systems, amino acid requirements, feed technology, biomarkers for performance optimisation, feed additive selection, and the latest insights in calcium and phosphorus nutrition for modern broilers and layers.
A special thank you goes to Mike Bedford, Rick Kleyn and Pim Langhout for sharing their expertise and translating complex scientific developments into practical nutritional strategies. Their sessions generated valuable discussions on performance, profitability, animal welfare and sustainability in today's high-genetic-potential poultry production systems.
The strong attendance, active participation and engaging discussions made this event a great success. We are proud to connect professionals from across the industry and contribute to the exchange of knowledge that helps shape the future of animal nutrition.
