This year WMF 2018 focused on innovative approaches united for one goal: a mycotoxin-free supply chain.

Mycotoxins are clearly still a major concern worldwide in guaranteeing food and feed safety, despite the extensive research already available today. Therefore, mycotoxin-management complies different strategies, taking into account the top 5 answers of this year’s forum:

  1. Climate changes, an important factor in fungal growth
  2. Detoxifiers, able to minimize biological effects of the mycotoxins present
  3. Omics-approaches, understanding of the interactions between living organisms
  4. Managing-strategies, regarding the control and reduction of mycotoxins along the supply chain
  5. Detection and control, as sampling strategies evolve parallel as our understanding & technological possibilities

It is clear that only by a wholistic approach, mycotoxin-management can be taken to the next level. Impextraco® is engaged to play an important role by developing suitable solutions for the feed industry. Our idea is that only by combining the newest technological tools & knowhow, powerful solutions can be developed and improved.

Impextraco® is therefore proud to present ELITOX® as one of the top products proposed to control mycotoxicosis in animals. ELITOX® is the perfect example of applying one of most recent techniques, e.g. the use of biomarkers for mycotoxicosis, in all our in vivo trials. This accurate strategy led to a unique combination of effective ingredients compiled in ELITOX®, a reliable insurance policy against mycotoxins with proven efficacy in the field. One of these innovative research trials was selected to be presented during the poster session.
