A prestigious seminar, Mycotoxins 2009, was organised in the Imperial Queen's Park Hotel in Bangkok. The timing, March 10, 2009 was chosen to immediately precede the VIV Asia in order to make it possible to combine both events. During a full day program, different aspects of the mycotoxin problems were dealt with by speakers from all over the world.

Tom Vanderborght, Technical-Marketing Manager within the Belgian headquarters of Impextraco, presented a paper with the title 'where next with mycotoxin control?'. The presentation provided an interesting mix of explaining current technologies used for research in developing new mycotoxin-eliminating additives and predicting what we can expect in the future.
