The Marcelino Champagnat Ecological School
Impextraco relies a great deal on the commitment and dedication of local communities around the world. Which is why we are committed to fostering the productivity and viability of these communities. For instance, Impextraco is proud to support the Marcelino Champagnat Ecological School in Curitiba, Brazil. Part of the King Baudouin Foundation, the project is aimed at fostering sustainability through teaching and community action. This is just one way in which Impextraco is committed to giving something back to the regions in which we are most active.
Project Orchestra – a Didactic Concert
The enterprises Impextraco and Propex, among others, patronized the Project Orchestra – a Didactic Concert, which took place on September 21st, at Guaira Theather, in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil. In a partnership with estate public schools of Paraná, through Solar do Rosário and State Secretary of Education, having as guest Conductor Paulo Torres, the proposal of the event was to show the history of classic music, from baroque to modernism, where the students could get acknowledged with Vivaldi up to Stravinski. “It was grateful to see the emotion of more than 2.000 teenagers, interacting with the spectacle. For some of them, it was the first opportunity to show up on a theatre”, commented Lucia Casillo Malucelli, director of Solar do Rosário. On the opportunity, the book Orchestra – History, Regency & Instruments was launched, having as researchers Clarice Miranda and Liana Justus, of Solar do Rosário.
