Technical Area Sales Manager Europe XTRA-PERFORMANCE®

Major responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for the promotion and sales of micro-ingredients for the feed industry.
  • Based in our headquarters you build strong relationships with our clients all over Europe.
  • You visit our clients on a frequent base.
  • You act as the point of contact for your client from sales to delivery: you prepare a founded proposition and follow this through until the closure of the deal. You will manage the back office by taking up responsibility for the order and delivery.
  • Via market research you will get a good insight in the needs of potential clients and make serviceable expansions to our product assortment.
  • You provide internal and external technical support: draw up product specifications and provide technical information to clients and prospects via newsletters.
  • You will report to the sales director.

Your profile:

  • You have a relevant degree in agriculture and/or chemistry (bio-engineer,...) or equivalent by experience.
  • You have relevant experience in sales in the agro/food/chemistry sector (commodities).
  • You have a commercial driven mind and a healthy dose of assertiveness in order to reach your objectives in an autonomous and enterprising way.
  • You are numerical and analytical strong.
  • You speak fluent English, French and German.

Worldwide Technical Support Manager POWER-PROTEXION®

Your Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for the further development and enhancements/additions of our POWER-PROTEXION® product range.
  • You give technical support to our customers and distributors.
  • You provide technical support to the rest of the organisation in Belgium and our different sales offices worldwide (China, Brazil).
  • You follow up on recent technologies through publications, seminars, etc., manage our know-how and write yourself articles about our products in technical magazines and our Expert-newsletter.
  • You work closely with existing and new customers and build strong relationships to understand their needs and the market trends in general.
  • You set up field trials at our own research farm and with independent universities.
  • You manage and optimize the POWER-PROTEXION® product formulae.
  • You lead the product positioning, the pricing and the promotion of the Impextraco POWER-PROTEXION® range.
  • You will report to the POWER-PROTEXION® Business Unit Manager.

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in agriculture and/or chemistry (bio-engineer,…).
  • You have a proven track record in international business-to-business relationships, ideally in the Agro/Food/Chemicals sector.
  • You have a commercially-driven mind and a healthy dose of assertiveness, which enables you to work independently and enterprisingly to achieve your targets.
  • You are solution-minded.
  • In view of your many international contacts and public national and international presentations of our products, you speak English fluently.
  • You have excellent communication skills.
  • You are willing to travel; this function requires frequent visits in Europe and rest of the world (35% of your time).
